Results are getting close - Kindergarten and 1st grade are neck-in-neck with enrollment. Remember the first grade to 100% gets a popcorn and movie party.

Mrs. Curtiss class has officially jumped to the most enrolled (congratulations!) - but still is not at 100%. The first class to 100% wins a pizza party!

Don't forget to check out the standings on the window outside the main office.

¡Es la ÚLTIMA semana de nuestro Desafío de Inscripción en el Centro de Salud Escolar! Gracias a todos los que se han inscrito. ¡La escuela ha logrado oficialmente que más de la mitad de los estudiantes estén inscritos!

¡MAÑANA (4/7) se enviará a casa una última tanda de formularios de inscripción! Padres, por favor revisen las mochilas de sus hijos.

Los resultados están muy reñidos: los grados de Kínder y 1.º están cabeza a cabeza en cuanto a inscripciones. Recuerden que el primer grado que alcance el 100 % ganará una fiesta de palomitas y películas.

La clase de la Sra. Curtiss ha pasado oficialmente a ser la que tiene más inscritos (¡felicidades!), aunque todavía no ha llegado al 100 %. ¡La primera clase que llegue al 100 % ganará una fiesta de pizza!

No olviden consultar la tabla de posiciones en la ventana situada fuera de la oficina principal.

Recuerden: la clínica escolar NUNCA reemplaza a su proveedor de salud principal; solo estamos aquí para ayudar en caso de ser necesario.

It's week two of the School-Based Health Center Enrollment Challenge! Thank you to everyone who signed up last week. Biggest improvement goes to Kindergarten who jumped up to 60% enrollment! Nice job!

This week, physical copies of the enrollment forms are going home. Parents please check take home folders for forms.

¡Comienza la segunda semana del Desafío de Inscripción del Centro de Salud Escolar! Gracias a todos los que se inscribieron la semana pasada. ¡El mayor avance se lo lleva el kínder, que alcanzó el 60% de inscripción! ¡Excelente trabajo!

La clase de la Sra. Williams sigue liderando en número de inscripciones, ¡pero aún nadie ha llegado al 100%!

The School-Based Health Center (SBHC) is excited to announce a special program for 2nd - 4th grade students with asthma! This education program will be run by staff from the SBHC , will take place during school hours, and is free of charge. Students must be in good academic standing, must have parental permission, and must be enrolled in the SBHC.

Our small group will meet once per week for four weeks over lunch to discuss many aspects of asthma control including: What is asthma? The different between rescue and controller inhalers, how to properly use your inhaler, common asthma triggers, and signs of an asthma attack. Prior to the start of the program, the nurse practitioner will meet with each student individually to assess their asthma control. At the conclusion of the program they will have another visit with the nurse practitioner.

All eligible students were sent home with a permission form this week. Please sign and return to their teacher. Students must be enrolled in the SBHC to be in the program. To enroll, please register online: https://nhpsorientation.net/health-center-permission-form/
